Parksville — The state has decided how it's going to turn Route 17 in Parksville into an interstate — and it looks like the plan may work for the hamlet.

Until last fall, Ramlochan and other Parksville businesses feasted on the needs of thousands of drivers when the Parksville section of Route 17 ran right through the heart of the hamlet.
