Demelza founder Derek Phillips has died at 83 years old The couple established the not-for-profit in honour of their daughter, Demelza, who died of a brain tumour at the age of 24.

Derek Phillips, who lives in Park Gate, set up Demelza Hospice Care for Children more than 25 years ago after his daughter, Demelza, died of a brain tumour at only 24 years old.
