U.S. pipeline and terminal operator Kinder Morgan posted a rise in second-quarter profit on Wednesday, helped by higher volumes of natural gas transported through its pipelines.

The sales and purchase agreement will see Venture Global supply 2 million tonnes/year of LNG from the CP2 LNG plant for 20 years.
