The firm behind the Vanish cleaner brand launches an investigation after thousands of bright pink plastic detergent bottles were washed up on beaches in Cornwall.

Vanish has suspended a giant pink bra from ITV’s Southbank Building today in a campaign created by events management agency Chillisauce, to raise awareness of Wear it Pink day.

Thousands of lurid pink bottles washing up on beaches across the south coast of Cornwall contain Vanish stain remover, it has been confirmed.
