The Baltimore Orioles took Ike Irish 19th overall in the 2025 MLB Draft, giving Auburn baseball a first-round draftee for the first time since 2020.
Socorro High School alum Daniel Lopez was picked in the 12th round of the Major League Draft by the Baltimore Orioles, the 364th pick overall. The 6-foot-1 right-handed pitcher graduated from Socorro in 2024 when he was named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite Team, then played this past season for Odessa College.
