The governor of Kentucky is touting “another milestone” in the state’s forthcoming medical marijuana program, with a licensed cultivator producing “the first medical cannabis inventory in Kentucky history.
Armory Kentucky LLC is a Tier III cultivator based in Mayfield, which will introduce the first medical cannabis inventory in state history, according to the Governor’s Communications Office.
A new alert system called the Ian Alert has officially been launched in Kentucky to help locate missing children with autism or mental illness. The system was created in memory of Ian Sousis, a nine-year-old boy with autism who drowned in the Ohio River after running away from a children’s home in June 2022.
During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Beshear on Sunday had blasted Trump for creating “chaos” with his economic agenda, arguing that many of his state’s residents did not have his tariffs in mind while overwhelmingly casting their ballots for him during the 2024 election. Trump had won Kentucky by more than 30 points in November.
Gov. Andy Beshear joined leaders from 23 other states and the District of Columbia in filing a lawsuit over withheld funding for education.
