John Chapman is a veteran member of the First Alert 6 news team. The award-winning news and sports reporter has worked for close to three decades in the Omaha area.

John Paul joined the Action News team in August 2022 as an anchor and reporter.

John is Ars Technica’s science editor. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
