A shooting incident at the Blue Grass Airport, in Lexington, Kentucky on Sunday caused chaos. Locals on social media said people were running around a terminal after shots were fired at around 11:40 AM local time. One person was seriously injured in the shooting.
Lex18 reported that the shooting was near the airport, but also indicated that it was at the airport, so details are preliminary. Lexington police also posted about a different scene but it's not clear whether the investigations are related. The second scene was in the 5800 block of Old Richmond Road.
Kentucky State Police is seeking the public's assistance in locating the good Samaritans who provided life-saving procedures to a trooper who was shot Sunday near the Lexington Airport.
