SAN JOSE — Police arrested a woman Monday on suspicion of murder and arson for allegedly setting fire to a commercial building with an employee inside, authorities said.

The San Jose Police Department say they have arrested a woman for murder and arson at a commercial building over the weekend.

A pedestrian was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose early Sunday morning. The San Jose Police Department said in a social media post that the person was struck at about 4:30 a.m. at Senter Road and East Capitol Expressway in South San Jose.
