ST. PAUL — Attorney General Keith Ellison announced Monday, July 14, that Minnesota has joined a coalition of 23 attorneys general and two states in suing the Trump administration over alleged frozen funding administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

Twenty-four state attorneys general sued the Trump administration on Monday, after it froze more than $6 billion in federal funding promised to schools. The White House says it wants to make sure taxpayer money is spent in line with the President's priorities.
