Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested Friday that his county’s military might not withdraw all of its forces from Lebanon by this weekend’s deadline set in its ceasefire with Hezbollah.

The Israeli military said on Friday that it remained deployed in southern Lebanon while maintaining the terms of the ceasefire deal.

The Israeli army will not complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon by a Monday deadline, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said on Friday, saying Lebanon has not yet fully enforced the ceasefire agreement.
