MBTA countdown signs are being installed at some of the busier bus stations around the system, which will tell riders when their ride will arrive.

Hours after reporting that bus tracking and signage in stations were impacted by a widespread global tech outage Friday morning, the MBTA restored both services and said they were operating as normal.
