Cisco has developed its own proprietary standard to support the latest wireless access points, the company has announced.

Cisco joins the rush to deploy draft 802.11n gear for the enterprise with a two-radio access point; with both radios, top data rate hits 600Mbps.

You could always try a Cisco Power Injector for the 1250 series - be warned, they are massive compared to the 1240 injectors due to increase to >20W.

The proprietary "enhanced power over Ethernet" standard can power wireless access points designed for the 802.11n draft over the LAN.
