Davis-Monthan Air Force Base’s gate at Craycroft Road has been shut down after a car crashed into one of the gate’s barricades Monday afternoon.

TUCSON - A gate at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base has been closed after a vehicle crash was reported in the area at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Davis-Monthan broke ground on a project to reconfigure the South Wilmot gate, in an effort to alleviate traffic on the north entrance and exit gates.
