PRF Industries ran into roadblocks in the 1970s as the oil crisis hit. 1979 was the end of the M300 chassis, meaning that PRF no longer had something for the Travco/Dodge Motor Home to ride on.
Winnebago also famously used the M-Series chassis from the early to mid-1970s to great effect. However, only 1500 of these special Dodge M300-based motorhomes left the factory floor in 1969.
