Cavs free agent guard Sam Merrill is re-signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers are keeping one of their own by reaching an agreement to re-sign backup shooting guard Sam Merrill. The Cavs struck a new deal June 28 with Merrill on a four-year, $38 million contract.

The Lakers are signing big man Eric Dixon, who went unselected in the NBA draft, to a two-way contract.
