Authorities in Northport and Tuscaloosa County say a man has been arrested on charges of possessing a ‘Glock switch’ under a new act signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey in March 2025.

Glock switches are illegal under MS HB 903, passed in 2024. Individuals caught in possession of one could face up to 10 years in prison.
