Adventure Aquarium's new exhibit, KidZone — the largest renovation the aquarium has undertaken since Herschend Family Entertainment took over in 2005 — is all about smiles from the little ones.

The KidZone, funded through philanthropy, will cost around $22 million, according to Detroit Zoo CEO Hayley Murphy. Crews are expected to break ground next spring and complete construction in 2024.
