Tangram’s Smart Dot connects to a smartphone to provide laser pointer and mouse functionality. When disconnected, it fits onto either a rubber strap or a smartphone stylus.

And it’s all part of a new wave of "appcessory." The smartphone has replaced a lot of our possessions–alarm clocks, pagers, GPS’s, watches, Rolodexes and, in many cases, even entire computers.
