New street signs provided by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office are encouraging motorists to use more caution on the roadway. Just this year, Clarksville has had 33 pedestrian versus vehicle crashes.

The Brattleboro Department of Public Works will be monitoring these roads and providing status updates daily through roadside signage, which will be placed at the end of gravel roads throughout town.
