KITTERY, Maine — The Maine Turnpike Authority on Thursday installed a new "welcome home" sign at the state border on Interstate 95, an action promised by Gov. Janet Mills in her inaugural speech.

Mills has ‘Welcome Home’ sign installed at Maine’s southern border. The sign on the Maine Turnpike in Kittery is meant to send a message of welcome and inclusion, the Democratic governor says.
