Microsoft is introducing a new Windows 10 app today that has been missing since the operating system’s launch nearly two years ago: Story Remix. It’s essentially Windows Movie Maker on steroids.

Microsoft ended support for Movie Maker in 2017, with the company pivoting first to the Windows 10 Photos app, and then to the Windows 11 Clipchamp app as replacement tools.

Microsoft stated in a support page that a version of Movie Maker, one of its most popular free Windows desktop apps, could be coming to the Windows Store for Windows 10 PCs.
