Private security companies have concluded the search for 11 missing crew members following the sinking of the bulk carrier Eternity C in the Red Sea on July 7. The vessel was struck by Houthi fighters using small arms and explosive-laden drones during a prolonged assault, which left four individuals presumed dead.

The search for those missing after Yemen's Houthi rebels sank a ship in the Red Sea has ended as at least four people are presumed dead and 11 others remain unaccounted for.

The fact that so many countries in the region did not assist the ships quickly in order to deter the Houthis shows that it is not a priority. The Iranian-backed Houthis are emboldened after sinking two ships last week in the Red Sea.
