Jalen Hurts, in his first game since suffering a concussion on Dec. 22, started hot by completing his first six passes. Then he went cold by missing seven straight before recovering in time to lead the Eagles to a hard-fought 22-10 win Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t ask too much of their QB, but he came good when it counted in a 22-10 wild-card playoff win over the Green Bay Packers.

Although the Eagles called 34 rushing plays compared to just 21 pass attempts, quarterback Jalen Hurts played his part as well. He was efficient through the air (13-for-21, 131 yards), distributing touchdown passes to wideout Jahan Dotson and tight end Dallas Goedert.

The Eagles’ inactives against the Packers will be offensive linemen Nick Gates, Trevor Keegan and Darian Kinnard, cornerback Eli Ricks, safety Lewis Cine and receiver Ainias Smith. Parris Campbell got the not over Smith after being elevated from the practice squad Saturday.

Hurts threw for a modest 131 yards and two touchdowns, but played with no hesitation in his return from a three-week layoff after a concussion in December.
