John Hooker, one of the “ComEd Four”, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for his role in a bribery scheme involving former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.

The request from Madigan’s lawyers is no surprise. They warned Judge John Blakey it’d be coming after Blakey handed down a harsh sentence June 13.
