The former nanny of best-selling fantasy writer Neil Gaiman and his estranged wife, Amanda Palmer, claims in a lawsuit that Gaiman raped her repeatedly.

Scarlett Pavlovich, who accused Mr. Gaiman of rape and assault in a report last month, said in the suit that his wife had played a role in “procuring and presenting” her.

The suits brought by Scarlett Pavlovich come after Gaiman, 64, was recently accused in a New York Magazine cover story of sexually assaulting, abusing, and forcing at least eight women into sex

The lawsuit alleges several instances in which Gaiman violently raped a babysitter. The author has maintained that the sexual encounters were consensual.
