Jun 26, 2018 · LiAngelo wasn't projected to get drafted after one year. He was suspended for a year from the UCLA basketball program for shoplifting, which was "indefinite" when he left. Imagine you're a manager and a fringe GLeaguer shows up to your workouts heavy and obviously unprepared, 6 months after stealing in a foreign country.

LiAngelo Ball in just his second Summer League game: 20 minutes, 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals. Not as glamorous a shooting night as his first game, but still an impressive game by the undrafted guard nonetheless.

According to the internet, Liangelo ball makes 900k when the hornets bought his g league rights. I think he would have a hard time making more money overseas. Especially since he can’t go to China for obvious reasons. If Dwight makes 1 million, I can’t imagine Liangelo making over $1 million USD as a bench warmer overseas.

Aug 7, 2021 · Liangelo has skills, problem is he is a 6'4 small forward. A lot of players from HS to college and college to the pros fall through the cracks due to size. He can still make the league if he works hard. Anyone saying bc he doesnt have the skillset is wrong.

Also, LiAngelo would have gotten way more than 4.8 points per game at UCLA if he did not get suspended for robbing a Gucci store in China. Bronny's stats just plain suck, and I can't see why any team wants to draft him.

Apr 30, 2020 · Like why are Lonzo and LaMelo lottery first rounders while LiAngelo can barely make the G-League and wasn't even highly recruited out of high school? We see for a lot of other brothers, even if one is a star, the other gets a chance to play in the league and were highly respected college players at minimum (e.g. Seth, the Plumlees, Taylor Griffin).

Pj tucker didn’t become good at basketball until he was 27 after developing overseas for like 5 years and now is 8 years in the league because the skills he developed 3 and D is very valuable. Liangelo can do the same thing within the g league especially since he is only 21. He has plenty of years to continue to develop.

LiAngelo is going to be on UCLA with LaMelo at this point. I think ten years ago he'd have been a legit prospect but the league has evolved past his style. Also, Lonzo is brilliant on the court and LaMelo has flashes at a precocious age but LiAngelo has none of that. He won't be able to transition on a P&R for the life of him.
