Butte County Evacuations - Know Your Zone Butte County has established individual evacuation zones throughout the County. These zones will be used during fires or other emergencies requiring evacuations.

The Butte County Board of Supervisors consists of five members, each of whom is elected from the district in which he or she resides. Each Board member maintains an office within the district he or she represents.

As part of Butte County's Emergency Evacuation Plan, the Department of Employment and Social Services works collaboratively with multiple agencies to ensure that those in need of evacuation assistance during an emergency are identified and evacuated safely and efficiently.

The Assessor's Office establishes and maintains a set of maps which show every parcel of land in the County. These maps serve as the basis for the assessment of all real property in Butte County and are for tax purposes only.

As of September 2020, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and the Electronic Timesheet System (ETS) will be mandatory for all counties in California. Registering early will allow for providers and recipients to work out any issues they may have accessing the Electronic Services Portal.
